Our b&b host took us to this pearl in a December morning, just before we had to catch our bus back to Edinburgh. It was the greenest and most peaceful place on earth.

The Scottish Highlands in the early morning, the weather wasn’t the best but the views definitely were. The clouds came rolling in over the mountains for the entirety of the journey to Fort William. The most photos I’ve taken in one sitting for sure.
Scotland is well known for its highlands consisting of lochs and mountains. However most of the time the weather there is cloudy and rainy. Upon my first visit to this picturesque place I was lucky enough to experience the scenery in this beautiful weather and managed to get a picture of this landscape with hikers in the foreground.

Just when you think Glencoe can’t get more picturesque… you come across this little hut beside a river, with the dramatic clouds of the Scottish highlands as the backdrop.

You climb the mountain in an equilibrium between restlessness and exhaustion. Then, when you’re no longer thinking ahead, each step isn’t just a means to an end but a unique event in itself. This leaf has jagged edges, this rock looks loose, the snow is closer. These are things you should notice anyway. To live only for some future goal is shallow. It’s the sides of the mountain which sustain life, not the top. Here’s where things grow. But of course without the top you can’t have any sides. It’s the top that defines the sides.

One of my favourite places. Glen Etive in the Scottish Highlands is full of deer and beautiful landscapes. It allows you to have peace and quiet and just chill out with the most important thing to me and my photography - the great outdoors.

We visited Glen Etive in the Scottish Highlands in the hope we would see a herd of deer. I managed to capture this beautiful stag while the rest of the herd grazed behind him.

We were coming back from Glen Etive after photographing the wild deer and 2 guys were getting their kayaks ready to go into the water. I asked if I took take some videos of them with my DJI Spark and they Kindly said yes. I wasn’t sure if I was actually going to be able to get the drone in the air as it was extremely windy. Luckily I got some footage and a few photos as they went down the rapids.

This is my image of Lochan na h-achlaise in Scotland just off the A82. I was travelling in a camper van for the weekend on the search for some scenic places in my homeland and when I came across this I just had to take a photo and I am so pleased with the end result

I’m a huge fan of HP so visiting the Glenfinnan viaduct was at the very top of my bucket list for our trip to Scotland. I was hoping to see the steam train but unfortunately it didn’t ride on the weekend. I was a little disappointed in myself for not checking in advance but Scotland’s weather made it up with us. We knew there was a storm coming up and it came from the hills behind the viaduct. So we really saw the storm coming for us. It was absolutely stunning and I’m glad I managed to get this dramatic shot. We didn’t get soaked, we made it back to the car just in time :-)

After a long hike through the Scottish Highlands, we stumbled into the owners of this house who were shooting partridge. They offered us to stay for dinner (which was partridge pie) but I settled on just taking a photo instead!

This is one of the most spectacular mountain on the road towards Isle of Skye. The mountain top is treeless and I really love its texture. I will back this place in winter when the snow falling and covering it. I can imagine how fantastic it will be at that time.

The Storr (Scottish Gaelic: An Stòr) is a rocky hill on the Trotternish peninsula of the Isle of Skye in Scotland. The hill presents a steep rocky eastern face overlooking the Sound of Raasay, contrasting with gentler grassy slopes to the west.The Storr is prime example of the Trotternish landslip, the longest such feature in Great Britain. It is the type locality for the mineral gyrolite.In January 2012, production of the science-fiction film Prometheus moved to the Isle of Skye, with filming taking place at the Old Man of Storr.

A scenic long-exposure taken at the waterfall by Campsie Fells, Scotland (UK). If there’s one thing I admire about water the most, it’s that no matter what’s in its way, no matter how big or small the obstacle, no matter how hard it gets, it always pushes through and refuses to be stopped. It has a final destination - a goal - and it’s focused. It knows where it’s going, and it flows. The Devil’s Point was our first Munro on our trip to the Cairngorm National Park in Scotland. It’s an easy Munro with great view over to Ben Macdui and back down over the River Dee.
